Our mentorship sessions provide flexible, focused support alongside your PLAB 2 preparation. You can use your sessions in whichever way will benefit you most, including:

  • Receiving feedback on your performance

Highly recommend the Simman class, Simman supervised, Academy Access, and 16-station mock exam here. Dr. Arfan is a very good and knowledgeable lecturer. The Simman class will give you an overview of the different Simman scenarios, and I recommend taking this before the Simman supervised class. I also highly recommend the Simman supervised class, where you along with 4 other students take turns tackling mock Simman cases supervised by Dr. Arfan. After each mock case, he will give you personalized feedback on how you did and what you can improve on. He also gives personalized feedback on the 16-station mock exam, he will sit down with you after the exam and discuss how you fared and what can be improved. He was non-judgmental and supportive in his approach, and the feedback felt like a huge learning experience rather than a depressing roasting session. Best part is, it's all very affordable. Take note that the 16-station mock is a 1-room setup (you won't be going in and out of 16 rooms); Dr. Arfan is both the actor and examiner. All in all, I am very satisfied and happy with my experience. I failed my mock exam in NextStep with only 5 stations passed, but I passed PLAB 2 with 11 stations passed. Thank you!
