Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy

This policy applies to bookings made with NextStep UKMLA for the following:

  • 16-Station Mock Examination

  • SimMan Masterclass

  • Prescription Masterclass

  • Supervised SimMan Practice

  • Academy Access

Please read this policy carefully before completing your booking. By making a booking, you are confirming that you have read and understood the applicable cancellation, change and refund terms.

1. Cancellations & Booking Changes

1.1 Requests Made 14 Days or More Before Your Booking

Any request to cancel your booking or change your booking to another available date must be made at least 14 days before your scheduled booking date.

All cancellation and booking-change requests must be made by contacting the NextStep UKMLA Admin Team via WhatsApp on +44 7394 863007.

Where a cancellation is eligible for a refund, a £5 administration and payment processing charge will be deducted from the refund.

Requests to move a booking to another date are subject to availability.

1.2 Requests Made Less Than 14 Days Before Your Booking

If there are less than 14 days remaining before your scheduled booking date, we are unable to accommodate:

  • Cancellations

  • Date changes

  • Transfers to another session

Your booking will be non-refundable and cannot be moved to another date, subject to your statutory rights.

Please check your selected date carefully and ensure you are able to attend before completing your booking.

1.3 Administration & Payment Processing Charge

A £5 administration and payment processing charge will be deducted from all eligible refunds.

This charge applies to eligible refunds for the 16-Station Mock Examination, SimMan Masterclass, Prescription Masterclass, Supervised SimMan Practice and Academy Access.

2. Academy Access

2.1 14 Consecutive Days of Access

Academy Access is provided for 14 consecutive calendar days from your chosen start date.

Once your Academy Access begins, the 14-day period runs continuously for 14 consecutive calendar days.

Your Academy Access cannot be paused during this period.

2.2 Cancellation or Change of Start Date

If you wish to cancel your Academy Access or change your selected start date, you must contact the NextStep UKMLA Admin Team via WhatsApp on +44 7394 863007 at least 14 days before your chosen start date.

Requests made less than 14 days before your selected Academy Access start date cannot be accommodated.

Where eligible, an Academy Access cancellation will be refunded minus the £5 administration and payment processing charge.

Once your Academy Access period has started, it is non-refundable and the selected start date cannot be changed, subject to your statutory rights.

2.3 Unused Academy Access Days

Any unused days within your Academy Access period cannot be paused, carried forward, transferred or added to a future Academy Access period.

Failure to attend or use the academy during some or all of your 14-day access period does not entitle you to a:

  • Full or partial refund

  • Extension

  • Replacement access period

  • Credit for unused days

3. 16-Station Mock Examination

3.1 Arrival & Late Attendance

Candidates are responsible for arriving on time for their scheduled 16-Station Mock Examination.

If a candidate arrives more than 15 minutes after their scheduled mock start time, their mock examination will be cancelled.

In these circumstances, no refund, credit or date change will be provided, subject to your statutory rights.

Due to the structure and timing of the 16-station mock examination, candidates arriving more than 15 minutes late cannot be accommodated.

Candidates are therefore advised to plan their journey carefully and arrive in sufficient time before their scheduled mock.

3.2 Academy Access Mock Discount

The standard price for the 16-Station Mock Examination is £129 per candidate.

Students who have purchased NextStep Academy Access are eligible for a £30 discount, reducing the mock price to £99.

To receive the Academy Access rate:

  1. Purchase Academy Access before booking your mock.

  2. Contact the NextStep UKMLA Admin Team via WhatsApp on +44 7394 863007.

  3. Once your Academy Access purchase has been verified, you will receive a unique promotional code.

  4. Apply the promotional code at checkout when booking your mock to receive the £30 discount.

3.3 Promotional Codes

The Academy Access promotional code must be obtained and applied before completing payment for your mock examination.

If you have already purchased your mock at the standard £129 price, purchasing Academy Access afterwards will not entitle you to a £30 refund, partial refund, credit or retrospective price adjustment.

Promotional codes cannot be applied retrospectively to completed mock bookings.

3.4 Mock Availability

All 16-Station Mock Examination bookings are subject to availability.

Purchasing Academy Access or receiving a promotional code does not guarantee a mock examination slot.

A mock booking is only confirmed once an available date has been selected and the booking has been successfully completed.

4. Missed Sessions & Non-Attendance

If you do not attend your booked 16-Station Mock Examination, SimMan Masterclass, Prescription Masterclass or Supervised SimMan Practice, your booking will be treated as a non-attendance.

No refund, credit, transfer or date change will be provided for non-attendance, subject to your statutory rights.

For Academy Access, failure to attend or use the academy during your purchased 14-day period does not entitle you to a refund, extension, credit or replacement access period.

5. Refund Processing

Where a refund is approved, it will be returned to the original payment method used to make the booking.

A £5 administration and payment processing charge will be deducted from all eligible refunds.

The time taken for an approved refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

6. Changes or Cancellations by NextStep UKMLA

In the unlikely event that NextStep UKMLA cancels a booked session, affected candidates will be contacted and provided with the available options.

Where NextStep UKMLA makes a significant change to a scheduled session, affected candidates will also be contacted with the available options.

7. Statutory Rights

Nothing contained within this Cancellation, Changes & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, limit or restrict any rights that you may have under applicable UK consumer law.

Where your statutory rights apply, they will take precedence over the relevant provisions of this policy.
